Friday’s Stylephile post was on 2011 kitchen trends. To follow up that post, I also researched the key trends in bathrooms. As you read through, you will see some similarities in what is trending in both of these spaces.

Either dark cabinets or white cabinets ~ mid-tone woods are beginning to date both kitchens & baths

Vessel sinks continue in popularity

Spa like spaces & larger sink cabinets

The color green climbed from 14% to 24% in baths

Quartz is gaining momentum for solid surfaces, but granite is still king

Tile, tile, tile

Like in kitchens, furniture is making its way into bathrooms, too

In addition to the above, the eco trend continues & the purchase of comfort-height commodes prevails.
