Davidson College’s men’s basketball team narrowly defeated the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga Thursday night, 64-63, in a game that came down to the final second. With the score tied at 63 and 1 tick on the clock, Nik Cochran hit a free throw to win the game, and keep the Cats undefeated in the Southern Conference. Read the full story

Nik Cochran 16 points in the second half, JP Kuhlman also had 16 and Davidson held Chattanooga to 31 percent shooting in the second half to earn a 73-59 upset over the Mocs at Belk Arena Saturday night.
It was the fourth straight win for the Wildcats, who evened their record at 12-12 overall, and are now 6-7 in the conference.
Cochran added five rebounds and four assists to his stat line, while Kuhlman had seven rebounds and four assists. Jake Cohen recorded 10 points and nine rebounds, and Brendan McKillop posted 12 points and five boards. Read the full story
