Wildcats host Georgia Southern Saturday night at Belk

Davidson begins a long home stand when it hosts Georgia Southern Saturday night at 7 o’clock at Belk Arena in a Southern Conference men’s basketball game.
The Wildcats have won five of their last six games and are now 9-11 overall, 5-1 in the Southern Conference. On Thursday, they won 82-77 at Western Carolina [1]. Georgia Southern is 9-11 overall and 2-3 in the league.
The game airs on the Davidson Radio Network with video on MI-Connection Channel 4 and DavidsonWildcats.com.
Meanwhile, Davidson’s De’Mon Brooks was named SoCon Player of the Week on Tuesday for the first time in his career after averaging 26.0 points and 9.5 rebounds for games played Jan. 14-20. In the Western Carolina game, Brooks became the 14th player in school history to reach the 1,500 career points mark.
