CBC Richmond beat Western Branch (Va.) 11-3 on Saturday afternoon to win the PONY East Zone South Regional youth baseball tournament at McEver Fields in Davidson. The win sends CBC to the East Zone tournament in High Point beginning Aug. 1.

On Friday afternoon, Rockingham (N.C.) shut out the Davidson-Cornelius DC Force, 14-0, to knock the local team out of contention.

Rockingham then got knocked out in an evening game, falling to eventual winner CBC, 11-1.
