A quartet of Davidson scorers hit double-figures to help the Wildcats to an 83-56 Southern Conference men’s basketball victory over Georgia Southern Wednesday night at Belk Arena.
JP Kuhlman had 19 points and Jake Cohen had 18 points and 8 rebounds, and Nik Cochran also had 18 to lead the Wildcats. De’Mon Brooks had 10 points and 4 rebounds. Davidson led 45-22 at the half, and outrebounded the Eagles 40-21.
The win lifted Davidson past the .500 mark, to 14-13 overall, and 8-8 in the Southern Conference.
Ben Drayton had 16 points for Georgia Southern, which lost its 14th straight and fell to 4-24 overall, 0-15 in the conference.

Davidson travels to Presbyterian in Clinton, S.C., on Saturday for a non-conference game. Tip off is 7:30 p.m. Then the Cats are back at home Thursday, Feb. 24, and Saturday, Feb. 26, for their final two regular season games, against Elon and UNCG respectively.
Then it’s off to Chattanooga, Tenn., for the Southern Conference tournament, which starts March 4.
