The headline in Tuesday’s USA Today says Charlotte, but the article about Olympic swim training might have said Lake Norman. Some of the USA’s top Olympic level swimmers are now training here, sometimes at Davidson College’s pool. They’re part of SwimMAC Carolina, an independent swim training program run by David Marsh of Davidson.
USA Today focuses on SwimMAC for its unique Team Elite program that focuses on post-college elite swimmers like including Ryan Lochte, Tyler Clary, and Cullen Jones.
