CORNELIUS – Four homeowners in the Smithville neighborhood got help with landscaping and repairs during the 4th annual Realtors Care Day on Friday.

“I just don’t know what to say. It helps a whole lot,” said Florida McCauley, who watched as a crew painted trim, tidied her Smithville Lane yard, painted trim, installed gutters and stained a two-year-old back deck. Read the full story

This Friday, April 20, is the annual Realtors Care Day in the Charlotte region, organized by the Housing Opportunity Foundation of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association. More than 500 local real estate industry employees will spend the day working on home-repair projects that range from exterior home repairs to adaptive and safety modifications. Read the full story

A Smithville home will get some much needed repairs Friday, April 8, during the third annual Realtors Care Day. Homeowner Walter Smith will join area realtors to work on upgrades to the exterior of his Vivian Lane house.

Hundreds of area realtors will volunteer their time during the all-day event to help 23 area homeowners in Mecklenburg and Iredell counties. The initiative is part of the Charlotte Regional Realtor Association’s Housing Opportunity Foundation. Read the full story
