Home repair projects wanted for April Realtors Care Day

Every year, Charlotte Regional Realtor Association sponsors Realtors Care Day, where real estate industry volunteers assist homeowners with exterior home repairs, and adaptive and safety modifications for the elderly or disabled. This year’s day will be Friday, April 19, and the association is seeking nominations for projects.

Realtors to host Candidate Fish Fry Thursday

Charlotte Regional Realtors Association will host its 15th annual Candidate Fish Fry on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the CRRA parking lot, 1136 Greenwood Cliff, Greenwood Cliff and Kenilworth Ave., in Charlotte.

The event will include candidates for school board, Charlotte Mayor and city council, and local boards. Last year, more than 500 association members attended and networked with more than 30 candidates from both state and local races.

Realtors also will hold a school-supply drive at the event to benefit schools identified by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools.
