This year’s spring High Point Furniture Market was filled with some exciting new pieces. In fact there were so many new introductions of furniture and lighting that I will focus on the furniture in this article and cover lighting in the next article.

Regina Andrew showed a novel concept for a coffee table which is pictured at right. It is a round table of metal and a pearl-like inset top. But what is so unusual is that the top can appear to be one coffee table but it also easily slides apart to make 6 smaller accent tables.
