Board also OKs hot dog cart on Main Street
The Design Review Board on Wednesday approved design changes on a planned 2 1/2-story duplex at Jetton Street and Davidson Gateway Drive, and gave the go-ahead for a hot dog cart on Main Street, between the library and CVS. John Marshall Custom Homes Inc. of Davidson will offer tours this Saturday, Oct. 9, of a “green” home under construction near downtown Davidson. The home, at 631 James Alexander Way, off Walnut and Spring streets, is the builder’s second project using the U.S. Green Building Council’s LEED for Homes standards. The open house will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
