CHARLOTTE ― The Charlotte Regional Realtor Association Housing Opportunity Foundation is seeking applicants for grants up to $2,500 from its Community Grants Program. MOORESVILLE – A trio of designers took home awards Tuesday night in Our Towns Habitat for Humanity’s second annual ReStore Restyle design challenge at the Mooresville ReStore. This year’s spring High Point Furniture Market was filled with some exciting new pieces. In fact there were so many new introductions of furniture and lighting that I will focus on the furniture in this article and cover lighting in the next article.
Regina Andrew showed a novel concept for a coffee table which is pictured at right. It is a round table of metal and a pearl-like inset top. But what is so unusual is that the top can appear to be one coffee table but it also easily slides apart to make 6 smaller accent tables. This feature would be very attractive to have when you entertain your family and friends since it allows you to provide many more surfaces to put beverages or food on. Read the full story
