Lake Norman Realty has added 38 associates over the past year, both via recruiting and acquisitions. That was among the headlines in the annual report delivered by President Abigail Jennings at the company’s annual meeting Jan. 19 at River Run Country Club. The company also presented awards to 33 associates.

Lake Norman Realty said in a press release that in 2010 it also relocated and expanded its Denver office, added a new Davidson office, and made investments in its online presence and technology. Sales for the year were up 32 percent over 2009, Ms. Jennings said.

A total of 33 associates were recognized for their achievements during the year. They included: Top Listing Associates: Nancy Hucks, Davidson Office; Jerry Gates, Denver Office; Noel Clark, Mooresville Office; Sally Parker, Statesville Office; and Debbie Monroe, Top Listing Associate for the Company.

Sales awards went to Top Sales Associates: Dawn Lassiter, Davidson Office; Greer Stamey, Denver Office; Maria Jacobs, Mooresville Office; Donna Brinager, Statesville Office; and Debbie Monroe, Top Sales Associate for the Company. Asa Klemack received the Service Provider of the Year Award for receiving a 100% excellence rating from all of her closed buyers and sellers in 2010. Jo Zarnoch received the James A. Jennings Community Spirit award for her dedication to animal rescue in the Lake Norman area.
