Susie
In August, 2009, an eight-week old puppy was found in Greensboro after being beaten, set on fire and left to die. Though she suffered third-degree burns over 60 percent of her body and had a broken jaw and teeth, and was covered in maggots, “Susie” survived.
Please visit http://ncvaw.org/susie to learn more about “Susie’s Law,” which would mean tougher sentencing for those individuals convicted of animal abuse and how you can help advocate for tougher penalties for hideous acts such as this one.
You also can follow Susie’s Law on Facebook.
