Sparrows perched on a truck tire at Northcross shopping center the other day. (Linda Gurley photo)
Linda Gurley of Davidson stumbled on a nature photo the other day while shopping at the Target in Northcross shopping center in Huntersville. “When I pulled in a parking space I noticed the truck parked beside me. A group of little birds had perched on the tire in the shade. I haven’t ever seen birds do that before and I grabbed my camera and snapped the picture. A few seconds later, a car pulled in behind the truck and the birds flew away. The little birds found a shady spot on a very hot day.”
