The Cornelius Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. For more information about these or other adoptable pets, please contact the Cornelius Police Department. The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.
This week, Yogi and 3 black kittens are being featured.
Yogi is an 11-month-old Jack Russell Terrier who was picked up as a stray. He is very friendly and knows basic commands. He would make a great family pet or companion.
The Cornelius Animal Shelter has a litter of black kittens!! They are all fun and energetic! Our volunteers play with them so they are used to people and like to be petted and picked up! Please stop by the shelter to meet them.
