The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.
This week we would like to feature Sammie and Ginger.
Sammie is a sweet 6-month-old terrier mix who was recently picked up as a stray. She is friendly and playful and seems to respond well to training. She has a light brown short coat and a cute little black nose and perky ears. She would make a great companion or family pet.
Ginger is a beautiful orange tabby mix who was recently surrendered to the shelter. She has dark orange stripes and white patches on her face, chest and feet. She is curious and playful and would make a great family pet. Please stop by and meet her.
General information about the Cornelius Animal Shelter as well as a list of available animals can be found at http://www.cornelius.org/animalshelter. CAS is looking for volunteers. Information on how to get started volunteering is also available at the site.
