The Cornelius Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. For more information about these or other adoptable pets, please contact the Cornelius Police Department. The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.
The shelter is happy to report that Tammy and Coco got adopted last week. This week we would like to feature Ivory and Corky.
Ivory is a friendly new arrival at the shelter. She is a Siamese/Domestic short hair mix with a mostly white coat and grey highlights on her face and legs. She is very affectionate and would make a great family pet.
Corky is a handsome, Lab/hound mix who was recently picked up as a stray. He has a shiny black coat, a white bib and toes, and an adorable curly tail. He has a sweet, gently personality and would make a great family pet. Please visit the shelter to meet him.
General information about the Cornelius Animal Shelter as well as a list of available animals can be found at http://www.cornelius.org/animalshelter. CAS is looking for volunteers. Information on how to get started volunteering is also available at the site.
