Cornelius Animal Shelter pets of the week

[1]The Cornelius Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. For more information about these or other adoptable pets, please contact the Cornelius Police Department. The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.
The shelter is happy to report that Jack got adopted last week.
Sally is an 8-year-old Shepherd mix who was recently surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer take care of her. She is really sweet with a calm, mellow personality. She is fully house trained, knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would be a great companion for an older couple.
Vixen is one of three adorable tabby kittens who are recent arrivals at the shelter. Comet and Cupid have black and grey tabby stripes and Vixen has tabby stripes along with a white bib and paws They are about 3 months old and up to date on all their shots. Please stop by the shelter to meet them.
