Shorty and Zoe

The Cornelius Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. For more information about these or other adoptable pets, please contact the Cornelius Police Department. The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.

Shorty is an adorable, small, beagle who has a sweet, shy personality. He was used to being outside, but would easily adjust to being an indoor dog. He was surrendered when his owner could no longer care for him.

Zoe is a gorgeous, female, Ragdoll who was recently surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer take care of her. She is a large cat with  a silky black and orange coat. She is curious and friendly, but a little shy.
