Cornelius-based Pawbrokers brings its next jewelry party to the Four Seasons Trading Post in Mooresville Thursday, June 28. Money raised from the sale of donated jewelry will support North Mecklenburg Animal Rescue and Friends of the Animals. Four Seasons owner Brad Doane will be donating food and drinks, including beer and wine, for the event.

At her parties, Cornelius resident and Pawbrokers founder Roxanne Blake raises money for animal rescue through the sale of donated jewelry. She donates 100 percent of the proceeds from her jewelry parties to different animal rescues, shelters, and other animal-related nonprofits.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS:

• Clean out your jewelry boxes of the jewelry you no longer wear.
• Bring it with you the night of the party. You do not need to donate to enjoy the party.
• Shop and buy the beautiful jewelry on display while you enjoy great company.
• It’s a Pay-It-Forward concept. The jewelry received June 28 will be available for purchase at future parties, providing endless opportunities to raise money for the animals.
• If you do not have jewelry to donate, but would like to help, you can donate dog and cat food (cans or bags) to be donated to local shelters.

To date, the Pawbrokers has donated more than $50,000 to animal rescue groups.
