Pit bull found on East Rocky River Road.
A white, female pit bull puppy was brought to the Davidson Police Department on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 6:21 pm. The dog does not have a collar or microchip. However, she appears in good health with just a few scrapes. A passerby found the dog near 14705 East Rocky River Road.
The dog was chasing cars as they drove by and the finder was concerned that the dog would be struck and killed. The dog is very friendly toward people. Since the dog was picked up outside the town limits, it was turned over the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Control.
If you own or know this dog, contact CMPD Animal Control by dialing 311 in Mecklenburg County.
