The Cornelius Animal Shelter has pets available for adoption. For more information about these or other adoptable pets, please contact the Cornelius Police Department. The shelter is open Tuesday-Friday 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and 5:00-7:00 p.m. It is also open on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Read on for more about this week’s pets.
Henry is a cute little guy who was picked up as a stray. He was very underweight and shy when he was brought in, but in a little over a week he has gained weight and come out of his shell. He is sweet and affectionate and would make a great little lap dog. He is patiently waiting for a new home where he will get all the love he deserves.
Princess is an adorable 12-week-old Calico and white kitten who loves to play and interact with other kittens. She has a sweet personality and would make a great family pet. Her brother, Patches, is also available for adoption.
