The Davidson Garden Club annual plant sale returns to the Village Green, 9am to noon Saturday. It's also Davidson Farmer's Market's annual Taste the Market food fest. And prospective students will be visiting for Discover Davidson and several Wildcats' athletic teams are at home this weekend.

Davidson Presbyterian Church on Depot Street will have a fall Fish Fry all day Friday, Sept. 26. The church also will join forces with nearby Reeves Temple AME Zion Church on Sunday for the neighboring church's annual Homecoming celebration.
