Fred G. Peters, 80

Fred G. Peters, 80, of Mooresville, NC, formerly of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, at the Serenity House. Born February 22, 1934, in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Emery and Lois Ball Peters. Mr. Peters was a retired Manager for General Electric having 36 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Nancy Peters; daughters, Karen Luczak and Dena Vermillion; grandchildren, Jessica Walker, Matthew Pettigrew, Ashley, Gregory and Houston Vermillion and seven great grandchildren. Services will be held in Cincinnati, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Serenity House, 110 Centre Church Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117. William “Bill” Jay Pierce, 62, of Huntersville, passed away suddenly on September 22, 2014. Bill was born December 7, 1951 in Wilmington, NC to the late Marlon and Louise McAughlin Pierce.

Bill was a member of the United States Army Military Police and a retired Sergeant for the Columbia, SC, Police Department. He recently worked for Pike Electric in Huntersville. He was born on February 17, 1953 in Mooresville, to the late John Adam and Sadie Honeycutt Jordan. He was retired from Lance Corporation after 17 years as a route salesman. Wilson, Sr. and Frances Christenbury Wilson. Sam was the retired owner of Wilson’s Meat Market and owner of the West Huntersville Storage Center. He was a member of the Chamber of Commerce, had perfect attendance for 25 years in the N. Mecklenburg Rotary Club and was a mason in the Long Creek Masonic Lodge.
