Elizabeth Barbara Keil Gilewski, 92, of Cornelius, died April 8, 2012, at Olde Knox Commons. Born Nov. 18, 1919 in Sligo, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Glenn Francis “Jack” Keil and Agnes May Williams Keil. She was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and retired from management at Joy Manufacturing Co in Franklin, Pa.

Elmer L. Knoedler, 100, of Davidson, died on April 4, 2012, at The Pines at Davidson. He was born in Gloucester, N.J., on Feb. 12, 1912, to the late Elmer L. and Carolyn (Belle) Knoedler.

Aleene Elsie Faulkner, 89, of Davidson, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on April 4 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville.

She was born on Sept. 10, 1922, in Buffalo, NY to the late George and Johanna Mook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, George Mook, and sister, LaVerne Chambers.
