Kenneth Edward Ayers, 66, of Huntersville, NC died Saturday January 5, 2013 at her residence. He was born April 20, 1946 in Brunswick, Md. He was employed 25 years at Piedmont Natural Gas, retiring as warehouse supervisor and a US Army veteran.

George “Sonny” Atwood Kissee Jr., 58, of Iron Station, NC died Monday January 7, 2013 at Levine Dickson Hospice House. Born September 13, 1954 in Mecklenburg County he was a son of the late George A. Kissee, Sr. and Thelma Harrison Kissee. He was employed in the construction business.

William Wally
William DeLynn Wally Sr., 89, of Cornelius, died Jan. 8, 2013, at Levine & Dickson Hospice House, Huntersville. He was born on April 9, 1923 in Mecklenburg County, the son of the late Lester Allen Wally and Gussie Caldwell Wally.
He is survived by a daughter, Deborah W. Nelson of Huntersville; three sons, W. Barry Wally and wife Kerry of Huntersville, William D. Wally Jr. and wife Denise of Albany, GA. and Charles L. Wally of Cornelius; a sister, Betty Jo Smith of Belmont; and Pamela Deakins of Ruther Glen, VA. daughter of Virginia Wally; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Turner Wally; daughter, Lynn W. Morrow; and sisters, Ellen Celeste Wally Hastings and Mary Charles Wally Atwell. James Austin
James Otto Austin, 78, of Mooresville passed away on January 7, 2013 at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. He was born on April 8, 1934 in Union County to Clyde Charles and Ruby Mae Hinson Austin.
James was a member of Wiggins Road Baptist Church of Mooresville and served as a deacon, head usher, church hospitality committee, along with his wife chaired the Senior’s Group, “The Golden Heirs.” He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict and attended Kings Business College in Concord and worked at Harris Teeter and General Times. Steven Drew Clark, 56, of Mooresville, passed away on Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 at Genesis Eldercare in Mooresville.
He was born Dec. 25, 1956, in Sharon, PA, to Carol Hepler Clark and the late Andrew Marland Clark. He was a graduate of Mooresville High School, where he was involved with the project to help build the car wash beside Brawley Seed Co. in Mooresville. Steven worked at the Vocational Workshop in Troutman and carried the torch for the Special Olympics. He also loved playing Bingo. Read the full story

Charles Martin McBride, 83, of Mooresville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, January 5, 2013.
