Judy Greenway Tanis, 68, of Mooresville, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Genesis Eldercare.
She was born on January 15, 1945 in Avondale, NC, to the late Earl Thomas and Helen Greenway. She loved spending time on the lake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Tanis.
She is survived by a son, Michael Tanis; step-children, Michael Tanis, Johnny Tanis, Russ Tanis, Jimmy Tanis; brother, Larry Greenway; grandchildren, Sydney Tanis, Cayden Tanis, Holden Tanis; step grandchildren, Brian Tanis, Chris Tanis, Matthew Tanis, Lyndsey Tanis, and Mitchell Tanis.
A Memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday, March 8 at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom McCrea officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
