Joan Cornell

Joan Rose Cornell, 82, of Huntersville, died March 5, 2013, at Presbyterian Hospital. She was born on Feb. 5, 1931, in Ypsilanti, MI, to Raymond and Rosa Cain Stiles.

Survivors include her son, David Cornell and wife Krystin of Pinckard, AL; daughters, Kathy Bates of Flint, MI, Linda Ward and husband Dennis of Rankin, MI and Carolyn Neault and husband Jim of Huntersville; her brothers, Bill, Jack, Gerry and Dick; and her 10 beloved grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Her husband Donald Cornell preceded her in death.

Memorial may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Services will be held in Michigan.
