Annie Ruth Jones Turner, 79, of Denver, died March 4, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. Born July 5, 1933 in Bowditch, NC she was a daughter of the late Henry Jones and Mary Wyatt Jones. She retired as purchasing agent from Brownell Electro in Charlotte after 25 plus years of service and was a member of East Lincoln Missionary Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian, loved her Lord and always gave unconditional love to everyone.

Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 7, 2013 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Cornelius, NC. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home.

A loving and devoted Mother and Grandmother she leaves to cherish her memory her children, Ray (Angie) Grindstaff of China Grove, NC, Ronnie Grindstaff of Ft Mill, SC, Jimmy (Deanna) Grindstaff of Mooresville, NC and Delores (Jim) Stewart of Ft Mill, SC; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and numerous extended family member.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, John Turner, sisters, Ruby Bradley, May Wiseman, Lillian Bellew, Julia Carol, Arie Boone, Nancy Robinson; brothers, Jay Grindstaff, Reagan and Crawford Jones.
