Starr Nicole Stutts, 32, of Terrell, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital.
She was born on September 10, 1979 in Hickory, to Hanna Lee Stutts and the late Kelly Gordon Stutts. She was a 2002 graduate of Clemson University. She was a Strength/Conditioning Coach at Clemson University as well as with the WNBA Charlotte Sting. Starr was a personal trainer at Pure Fitness in Terrell. She loved the outdoors, especially snowboarding and wakeboarding. Starr loved foreign missions and traveled with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) on missionary quests.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her paternal grandmother, Ann Stutts; brothers, William Kelly Stutts, Samuel James Stutts, Lee Gordon Stutts; niece, Abigail Ruth Stutts; and nephew, Seth Samuel Stutts.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 11 at Mt. Anderson Baptist Church in Maiden with Rev. Byron Wicker, Rev. Matthew Bollinger, and Rev. Barry Taylor officiating. Burial will follow the service at Rehobeth United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00-8:00 PM at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home, Mooresville.
