Edward Campbell

Edward Joseph Campbell, 86, of Mooresville passed away on July 3, 2012. He was born on April 7, 1926 to the late James and Marguerite Gilmartin Campbell in Jamaica, NY. He served his country in the US Navy during World War II and loved bowling, golf and the phone company.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Campbell was also preceded in death by a son, Brian Campbell and brother, James Campbell.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 60 years; children, Dr. Edward S. Campbell and wife, Marianne, Kathleen Heagle and husband, Tim, Donald Campbell and wife, Jill and Paul Campbell and wife, Julie; brother, John Campbell and wife, Edna Mae; ten grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and his beloved dog, Molly.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 6, 2012 from 3:00pm – 4:00pm at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home.
