Anne Lowe, 81, of Mooresville, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 at Brian Center in Mooresville.

She was born on November 4, 1930 in Mooresville, to the late Thad M. and Elsie Cranford Lowe. She was a graduate of Salem College and a member of First Presbyterian Church in Mooresville. Ms. Lowe was co-owner of Hengeveld Realtors and Insurers in Chapel Hill. She held state office in the NC Association of Realtors and was the first female President of the Board of Realtors in North Carolina.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Wilbur Lowe; and aunt, Eloise Holt.

She is survived by her son, F.W. “Bill” Hengeveld III and wife, Karen of Pittsboro, NC; granddaughter, Jenna Marie Hengeveld; nieces, Linda Spichter, Nancy Lowe; and nephew, David Lowe.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, June 30 at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. Fred Coates officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall. Burial will be held prior to the service at 10:30 AM at Glenwood Memorial Park.
