Parker O’Neil Bragg, of Huntersville, formerly of Richmond, Va., died in an auto accident in Huntersville around 2:30 a.m on Sunday, May 22. He was 16.
He was the son of Chip and Teresa Bragg and brother of Spencer Bragg. Parker was born on Aug. 5, 1994, in Richmond and lived there until July 2010 when he and his family relocated to the Lake Norman area, in Huntersville.
Parker loved fishing, soccer, snowboarding, golf and music and just loved being outdoors enjoying nature.
Parker was a sophomore at Hough High School in Cornelius, NC where he had all As & Bs, was on the Huskies’ Track Team, was planning to try out for the Hough Soccer Team. He also had been practicing his golf nearly every day at NorthStone Club, where he was a member and planning to try out for the Hough Fall Golf Team.
Along with his love of sports, Parker also had many other outstanding talents. He had a unique personality and brought all of us much joy and laughter.
A memorial service will be held at Derbyshire Baptist Church in Richmond, Va., on Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m., with a brief reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Parker.
