MOORESVILLE – For most Americans, between now and the end of the year is the best time to get any needed medical procedures, tests or elective surgery completed. If you have met your insurance deductibles for the year, any further out-of-pocket expenses could be minimal—or even zero through Dec. 31.

“This is an often-overlooked benefit and one that could really save you money,” said Greg Lowe, the CEO at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. “Our goal is to reach as many patients as possible and encourage them to beat the Jan. 1 deadline by scheduling their procedures now,”

For those qualifying for Medicare, there are even more services available to you at no cost.  Medicare recipients are eligible for free-to-you preventive services as part of your Medicare benefits.  If you have not had your free Annual Wellness Visit, or if you are new to Medicare this year, you are eligible for your ‘Welcome to Medicare’ Physical.
