MOORESVILLE –James B. Allen III, MD, PhD, plans to launch a new internal medicine practice, Lakeshore Internal Medicine, on Aug. 1 in Mooresville. His new practice is announced by Lake Norman Regional Medical Center in Mooresville, which also has announced a series of new management appointments.

LAKESHORE INTERNAL MEDICINE

Dr. Allen received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and he completed his internship and residency in the Department of Internal Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte. 

Dr. Allen also holds a PhD in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX.  In addition, Dr. Allen received his Master of Science degree in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he also received his undergraduate degree in Biology.

Specializing in internal medicine in the Lake Norman area since 2002, Dr. Allen will be opening his new practice, Lakeshore Internal Medicine, located at 134 Medical Park Road, Suite 108, in Mooresville on Aug. 1.

HOSPITAL ANNOUNCES NEW STAFFERS

Lake Norman Regional Medical Center has added three new members to its management team.

Ashlee Bennett

Ashlee Bennett

Ashlee Bennett is the new Patient Access Manager. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science from the University of Charleston in West Virginia. She holds a Master’s Degree in Health Administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, North Carolina. Ashlee comes to us from Rowan Regional Medical Center where she was a Supervisor of Patient Access.

Matt Cline

Matt Cline

Matt Cline has accepted the role of Environmental Services Director. Matt attended Rowan-Cabarrus Community College where he studied Criminal Justice. Matt previously managed environmental services for Carolinas Medical Center and has been in EVS management since 2007.

Dennis Mondzak

Dennis Mondzak

Dennis Mondzak has accepted the role of Assistant Central Billing Office Manager. Dennis received his Bachelor’s Degree from Tulane University where he studied finance. Dennis moved to North Carolina from New Jersey where he worked with Community Health Systems as a Credit Analyst, and later promoted to Contract Manager.
