Cabarrus County EMS and the American Heart Association will host a “CPR Aware” event at Concord Mills Mall on Friday, Aug. 3, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The training is free and is conducted on a “drop-by basis.” In a time frame of five minutes, participants will receive instruction in the “hands-only” technique of CPR and be prepared to recognize sudden cardiac arrest. Read the full story

Beginning this month,  Kannapolis Fire Department is shifting its CPR classes from those focused on healthcare providers a series called Family & Friends CPR.
