Want to run a 5K, but haven’t set foot on the roads yet? A six-week program being offered this summer by Cornelius Parks & Recreation will helpl transform you from couch potato to 5K runner.
Come learn the proper warm-up techniques, and then learn a regular workout routine. Workouts will progress toward the goal of running a 5K road race. Participants will also be instructed on proper stretches for post-workout recovery. This program is designed for beginner runners. Read the full story
