HUNTERSVILLE – Early registration is underway for the Run Wild 5K and Wild Child Fun Run on May 12 at Birkdale Residence Club in Huntersville, and runners who register early will save $5 and receive a race packet with coupons and deals. The race is presented by the African Children’s Project, a 501(c)(3) organization run entirely by volunteers to benefit children who have been orphaned as a direct result of the HIV/AIDS pandemic in Africa.
