Carolinas HealthCare on Wednesday opened its newest urgent care center in Huntersville.
The new Huntersville location, at 12905 Rosedale Hill Ave. near the intersection of Gilead Road and I-77, will be staffed by physicians, physician assistants and nurses from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. seven days a week. The staff are prepared to treat sore throats, ear aches, bronchitis, colds, flu, minor cuts, burns, strains and sprains, and also will perform physicals for school, work or camp. Staff members also will assist patients in finding primary care physicians if needed.
