Presbyterian Hospital Huntersville presents a Senior Saturdays workshop this Saturday, May 19, on “Hospital to Home,” by Faye Freeze, RN, ACM, Presbyterian Hospital Case Manager. The program runs 10 to 11 a.m. in the hospital community room, 10030 Gilead Road, Huntersville (off Exit 23).

MOORESVILLE – In honor of National Skin Cancer Awareness Month, Lake Norman Regional Medical Center will host its annual free skin cancer screening on Wednesday, May 2, in Mooresville.
Screenings are by appointment only, from 6-8 p.m., Lake Norman Medical Pavilion, 131 Medical Park Road, Suite 101, off I-77 Exit 33, Mooresville.
Physicians will perform the screenings by appointment only. The screening is a visual exam and may include a spot check or full body scan to determine any areas of concern.

Dr. Robinson will talk about common foot conditions.

CORNELIUS – Pat Berch, owner of Lake Norman Nutrition, and Marianne Hendrix, 15-year Our Towns Habitat for Humanity volunteer, will team up in May to host a Weight Loss Challenge to raise money for the housing organization and help area residents start a health and wellness campaign.
