Carolinas Healthcare System is offering a Faith Community Health Promoter training program, which formally equips laypeople with the tools to promote health and wellness within their faith communities. Carolinas HealthCare System will open a new urgent care office at the Davidson Clinic next Friday, Jan. 10, offering treatment for colds and flu, minor injuries, and physicals seven days a week without appointments. The 670-square-foot clinic is inside the Davidson Clinic building at 750 Griffith St., off I-77 Exit 30.
