A TV commercial running frequently of late shoes a curvy woman in athletic shoes and suggests the shoes are responsible for her nicely-shaped and toned backside. The Reebok shoe website continues the theme: “Get a better butt. Get better legs,” says the site, an advertisement for the company’s new “Easytone” shoes. But can a pair of shoes really make the difference? The New York Times looked at the company’s claims in an article titled “Firm body, no workout required?”
