Stroke support group meets Aug. 1 at Senior Center

MOORESVILLE – Lake Norman Regional Medical Center will host its monthly Stroke Support Group on Thursday, Aug. 1, from 1:30 to 3pm at the South Iredell Senior Center. The senior center is at 202 N. Church St., Mooresville, on the lower level of the Charles Mack Citizen Center.
The support group meets on the first Thursday of every month. The next meeting is scheduled for Sept. 5.
The Stroke Support Group is a free program open to the public. It provides education and support to stroke victims and their families. Registration is not required. For more information, contact Mitzie McCurdy, Director of Community Outreach & Senior Extra, at 704-660-4859.
