Orthopedic Surgeons Kevin Stanley and Mark Suprock will present seminars Aug. 14 and 28 on MAKOplasty, a new new technology for osteoarthritis of the knee offered at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. The seminars will be 6pm, in Community Rooms A and B at the hospital, 171 Fairview Road, Exit 33, off of I-77, in Mooresville.
MAKOplasty is described as a minimally invasive partial knee resurfacing procedure to treat early to mid-stage osteoarthritis. Using robotic arm technology, it allows quicker rehabilitation and more natural knee motion after surgery, compared to a total knee replacement, the doctors say.
The seminars are free, but registration is required. For more information regarding a seminar, or to reserve your seat, please contact the Orthopedic Nurse Navigator of The Orthopedic & Spine Center of Lake Norman, at 704-660-4164.
