CBCC lists area blood drives for March

[1]Community Blood Center of the Carolinas has scheduled blood drives for March 2012 in the Lake Norman area, including Davidson, Mooresville, Huntersville, and Statesville. They’ll be in Davidson on March 25 and 27, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church and Davidson College respectively. Here’s the schedule:

Please note the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas’ minimum weight requirement for blood donors is 120 pounds
The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) is teaming up with the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte (RMH of Charlotte) to host the Second Annual ‘Pint for a Night’ campaign. For each blood donation from March 1-April 30, 2012, CBCC will make a financial contribution to RMH of Charlotte.
More public drives can be found by logging on to the Community Blood Center of the Carolinas Web site at www.cbcc.us [1]. CBCC also has donation centers in Charlotte, Belmont, and Union County. You may call 704-972-4700 to make an appointment at any location.
The Community Blood Center of the Carolinas (CBCC) is a non-profit community-based blood center and the primary blood supplier to 19 regional hospitals, serving patients who live in 16 North Carolina and three South Carolina counties. CBCC’s hospital partners include: Carolinas Healthcare System, CaroMont Health, Piedmont Medical Center, Grace Hospital, Valdese Hospital, Frye Regional Medical Center, Central Carolina Hospital and Stanly Regional Medical Center.
