A trio of local health experts will be at Davidson College Oct. 13 for a symposium on “Integrative Medicine and Healthy Living.” Dr. Christopher Magryta will be speaking on “Your Genes, Nature, and Nutrition,” Dr. Russell Greenfield speaks on “Feeding Your Baby: From Information Overload to Commonsense Clarity,” and Dr. Bridget Bongaard speaks on “Taking Care of Yourself the Integrative Way!”

Feeding Your Baby – From Information Overload to Commonsense Clarity: Russell Greenfield, MD (Assistant Clinical Professor, UNC-Chapel Hill School of Medicine) The health benefits of breastfeeding, how best to choose an infant formula, introducing solid foods, and when and how to supplement your baby’s diet appropriately to help ensure optimal health.
Taking care of yourself.. the Integrative way!: Bridget S. Bongaard, MD, FACP (Director of Integrative Medicine Service Line at CMC-NEMC and NorthEast Internal and Integrative Medicine Clinic) How to rebalance your life and create more health, energy, and productivity, including root issues of fatigue, and discusses strategies for quick rebalancing, and problem solving skills.
