Yoga center collects shoes for those in need

The Bindu of Cornelius, a yoga and wellness center off N.C. 115, is collecting shoes now through Nov. 23 for Soles4Souls, a Nashville charity that collects shoes from individual donors and shoe companies and distributes them to people in need.
The Bindu is seeking gently-used shoes, which may be brought to the studio, 11138 Treynorth Drive any time 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. They’ll also give you a free tour of the studio and a free class. Donating shoes can be a form of Karma yoga – action we take in service of others to make the world a better place, the Bindu says in a press release.
