Davidson College English professor Cynthia Lewis and Davidson students Mary Holt Smith and Sara Freeman will be guests Monday, Nov. 26, on the public radio show “Charlotte Talks” on WFAE-FM, 90.7, in Charlotte, discussing southern debutantes.

The program hosted by Mike Collins airs Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. The Davidson guests will be discussing Prof. Lewis’s article in the winter 2012 edition of the journal “Southern Cultures” on “Secret Sharing: Debutantes Coming Out in the American South.” Both students have been Southern debutantes.
