Justice Sonia Sotomayor

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor will speak at Davidson College on Thursday, March 12.

Sotomayor has served as an associate justice of the Supreme Court since her appointment by President Barack Obama in 2009. Sotomayor is the first Hispanic American to serve on the bench of the country’s highest court.

Her visit to Davidson on March 12 will involve a Q&A-style conversation to be held at Belk Arena during the campus “Common Hour,” at 11:05am.

The talk is open only to members of the college community with Davidson College IDs.  (See “Change of plans: Sotomayor talk closed to the public for security reasons”)
