Beginner I lessons start at 7:30pm and are for those who don’t know how to shag (or those who want to learn the proper technique).

Beginner II lessons start at 8:30pm and are for those who have taken the first class, or are comfortable with all of the basic steps and are ready to learn more.

Each seven-week set is only $30 per person (total). You do not have to bring a partner to take lessons, or sign up in advance. But, students are asked to arrive 30 minutes early the first week to get checked in and to get their instructional material.

Lessons will be held in the large room addition to Fat Boys Restaurant. It’s on the northeast corner of the at I-77 exit 36, Hwy 150 interchange. (GPS location: 114 Days Inn Drive, Mooresville, NC) Students are encouraged to show up in time to take advantage of special buffet prices and eat before lessons. The facility also has a full bar
